Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who is visiting Japan, has held his first meeting with Prime Minister Taro Aso, spokesman for Foreign Minister Elkhan Polukhov told APA. The visit will last till June 21. Mammadyarov will meet with Crown Prince of Japan Naruhito, chairman of Azerbaijan-Japan Interparliamentary friendship Council Akira Amari, Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone and members of Azerbaijan-Japan joint economic commission. The state and prospects of bilateral relations, future plans will be discussed during the meetings.
Elmar Mammadyarov will also make a speech in Japan Institute of International Affairs and meet with media representatives.
This is a working visit.
