The visit will last until June 21, press service of the Minister of Foreign Affairs told APA. Mammadyarov will meet with Prime Minister Taro Aso, His Highness Crown Prince Naruhito, Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Japan Interparliamentary Friendship Council Akira Amari, Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone and members of the Azerbaijan-Japan Joint Economic Commission.
The current state of bilateral relationship and prospects of its development and future plans will be discussed at the meetings.
The minister scheduled to deliver speech at the Japan Institute of International Relations and to meet with the local media representatives.
The visit is of working character.
