President of Azerbaijan sends congratulatory letter to his Russian counterpart

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, press service of the President told APA. The head of state congratulated Medvedev and friendly Russian people on the occasion of national holiday â€“ the Day of Russia on his behalf and behalf of the Azerbaijani people. â€œToday Russia positively takes the way of development and strengthening of its statehood, democratic reforms and modernization of various spheres of the social life. The country is increasing its influence and strengthening positions at the international arena. Azerbaijan and Russia have long-century friendly relations. I believe these good relations will comprehensively assist the extension of multi-plan mutual activity, deepening of Azerbaijan-Russian strategic partnership and will be strengthened for welfare of our peoples, peace and stability in the Caucasus.
