Baku. Yegane Lachinzade – APA-Economics. As of February 1, 2016 the deposits in Azerbaijan-based credit organizations made AZN 22,610.9 mln, up AZN 7,745.9 mln or 49.4% compared to a year earlier. By contrast to December 2015, the deposits dropped AZN 852.2 mln or 3.63% in January.
AZN 8,643.3 mln of deposits was personal savings. The savings soared AZN 1.522 bln or 21.4% year-on-year.
At the same time, legal entities’ deposits stood at AZN 13,967.6 mln, up AZN 5.954 bln or 74.3% from a year ago.
In legal entities’ deposits, AZN 7.167 bln or 51.31% belonged financial organizations, AZN 6,800.6 mln or 48.69% - to non-financial organizations.
3,950.1 mln is in manat, 18,660.8 mln in foreign currency.
