According to him, the revenues in the revised budget increased from AZN 14.5 bln to AZN 16.5 bln. Sharifov noted that expenditures were also increased from AZN 16.2 bln to AZN 18.3 bln: “After amendments, the deficit is expected to make AZN 1.7 bln. We must find opportunities to cover the deficit. The residue in the single treasury account made AZN 1.4 bln in 2015. We’ll direct this fund to cover the deficit of 2016. At the same time, the deficit will be covered by state debt securities, incomes from privatization and external grants”.
