APA reports according to the statistics of the Central Bank, as of October 1, the volume of currency transactions in USD decreased by 2.71 times to $4,602,773,200 from $12,496,260,200 in 2015.
During the foreign currency transactions, $2,441,886,000 were sold in January-September, down 3.98 times compared to the same period of last year. In the nine months of this year, $2,160,887,200 was bought. This figure is 1.29 time less than to the same period of last year.
In the reporting period, the currency transactions in Euro declined 32.53% to € 702,473,200 from €1,041,105,600 in 2015.
Foreign exchange cash in the amount of €447,807,500 were sold in nine months of this year, down 1.88 times compared to the same period of last year. In January-September, €254,665,700 was bought. This figure is 28.47% more than the same period of last year.
