According to Bank of Azerbaijan said its insured deposits make AZN 36 mln: “However, calculations by the Fund revealed that the amount of the insured deposits makes AZN 24 mln”.

Javadov says the Fund has sufficient funds – AZN 132 mln to pay compensation if any insurance accident occurs.

Answering the question “Will the funds be sufficient if an insurance accident occurs after adoption of law on full insurance of deposits?”, Javadov said: “If any insufficiency appears, will be credited by the government. Moreover, the Fund is also able to attract funds by issuing securities”.
