EBRD to convert loans allocated for Azerbaijan into manats

According to him, the EBRD is planning to convert loans allocated for the implementation of projects in Azerbaijan into mantas: “this will not concern all of our customers. Because some customers, who engage in export, need dollar. The conversion will concern those who need it”.

Neal McCain said the EBRD delegation will visit Azerbaijan on March 1 and issuance of manat-nominated bonds will be discussed. At the same time, liquidity of the existing loans will also be discussed.
