As of September 1, 2025, a total of 1,645,546 taxpayers have been registered across the republic, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the information, 86.9% of taxpayers are individuals, while 13.1% are legal entities and other organizations. Compared to the corresponding period last year, the total number of taxpayers increased by 4.8%, including a 4.4% increase in individuals and a 7.3% increase in legal entities.
As of September 1, the number of registered commercial entities increased by 8 percent compared to the corresponding period last year, reaching 199,530 units. From January to August 2025, 9,419 commercial entities were registered, of which 88.7 percent have local investment and 11.3 percent have foreign investment.
Among the commercially registered legal entities, 91.9 percent are limited liability companies, 1.1 percent are joint-stock companies, 1.1 percent are cooperatives, and others are in different forms.
84.8 percent of commercial entities were registered electronically. The share of e-registration for locally invested limited liability companies accounted for 96.2 percent.
