Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov has received the delegation led by Masood Ahmed, director of the International Monetary Fund's Middle East and Central Asia department.
Ministry says discussions on perspectives of Azerbaijan’s economy, priorities in economic policy of the country, development of non-oil sector, as well as directions of IMF’s technical assistance that will provide to Azerbaijani government.
Underlining business links between Azerbaijan and IMF Ahmed stressed that the Fund supported the measures taken for saving of economic stability and ensuring of development in the country.
Note that this is Ahmed’s first visit to Azerbaijan.
