In January-August 2025, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 10.3% compared to the same period last year, amounting to 2.4 billion US dollars, APA-Economics reports, citing "Export Review" (CERACC).
According to the review, in January-August 2025, food exports increased by 22.9%, amounting to 774.2 million US dollars.
In the eight months of this year, sugar exports increased by 58.2% compared to the same period last year, fruits and vegetables by 32.2%, chemical industry products by 24.3%, cotton yarn by 16.3%, tea by 2.1%, and ferrous metals and products made from them by 0.2%.
In January-August 2025, exports of agricultural products increased by 28.2% to 614.4 million US dollars, while exports of agro-industrial products increased by 4.7% to 209.5 million US dollars. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 21.3% to 823.9 million US dollars.
