Forecasted income and expenditures of the state budget for 2026 have been announced, it has been reflected in the Ministry of Finance's "Statement on the initial indicators of the state and consolidated budgets of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026", APA reports.
Next year, state budget revenues are expected to amount to 28.6 percent of GDP, or AZN38,423.0 million, of which 42.6 percent or AZN 16,350.0 million will fall to share of the oil and gas sector, and 57.4 percent or AZN 22,073.0 million to the non-oil and gas sector.
It is predicted that of the state budget expenditures projected at AZN 41,548.6 million (31.0 percent of GDP) for 2026, AZN 24,771.7 million or 59.6 percent will be allocated to current expenditures, AZN 14,319.3 million or 34.5 percent to capital expenditures, and AZN 2,457.6 million or 5.9 percent to expenditures related to servicing state debt and obligations.
