Azerbaijan posts 39% rise in fixed investment

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Through all the funding sources, the fixed investments made AZN 7 957.5 million in Azerbaijan during January-November, up 38.8% on the same period a year ago.
The State Statistical Committee said the fixed investments by non-state enterprises and organizations made AZN 3 133.9 million (39.4%) and the fixed investments by state-owned units made AZN 4 823.6 million (60.6%).
Investments made in construction and reconstruction works rose 56.2% to AZN 4 879.2 million. AZN 5 912.9 million went to production-oriented projects and AZN 2 044.6 million to non-production projects.
Domestic investments exceeded foreign investment in the country during this period.
Domestic investment, 79% of which made by state-owned entities, accounted for 74.3% of fixed capital investment during the eleven months
