Transfer receipts to Azerbaijan exceed the outflow of capital by three times

Baku. Vahab Rzayev - APA-Economics. According to Azerbaijan’s balance of payments January-September, the country’s total transfer operations with foreign countries amounted to $1 383.6 million.
Of this, 77.2% was receipt of funds by Azerbaijan.
The National Bank of Azerbaijan said transfer receipts by the country reached $1 068.4 million, leaving $315.2 million to transfers from the country.
So, current transfers surplus increased by 4.2%, year-on-year, to $753.2 million.
Remittances to individuals accounted for 94.2% of the receipts from abroad, leaving 2.2% to the value of humanitarian imports and 3.6% to other inflow of funds.
Thus, the transfer receipts exceeded the outflow of capital by three times during this period.
