Tajik delegation familiarized with Azerbaijanâ€™s tax system

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. The delegation of the Government of Tajikistan and the Tajik Association of Entrepreneurs has today wrapped up its visit to Baku to familiarize with the reforms and experience in the field of business registration.
Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Taxes said the visit took place on the advice and with technical assistance of the International Finance Corporation, the European Union and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
The delegation acquainted themselves with the single window (one-stop shop) for business registration in Azerbaijan.
A presentation of the experience of Azerbaijan in this sphere was held for the guests.
During the visit, the guests also got acquainted with the Automated Tax Information System. They were briefed on the achievements of Azerbaijan in the field of information technology in the tax system, as well as the introduction of VAT-deposit accounts.
