The National Bank of Azerbaijan said the growth was 2.3% or AZN 150 million in lending in September.
The loan portfolio grew by AZN 205.3 million on average a month in the past period of this year.
Loans lent to individuals grew by 72.3% to AZN 2 433.3 million.
Loans lent to non-real economy, (trade and service sector and households as consumer loans) accounted for 62.1% of the lending.
The lending growth rate is very high.
The amount of short-term loans rose 38.1% while long-term loans increased 99% during the past 12 months.
The long-term loans accounted for 69.1% of the lending.
