Technikabank archives 50% growth in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Technikabankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 439.644 million, up 48.4% on the same period last year.
Samir Huseynov, Chairman of the Bank, said loan portfolio rose 21.7% to AZN 78.663 million, total capital increased 55.2% to AZN 57.438 million and net profit more than doubled to AZN 20.042 million.
He said the bank operates 35 branches, 2 offices and 3 exchange offices,46 ATMs and 327 POS terminals across the country.
Besides, the bank issued 40 662 Master and Visa International cards.
Technikabank signed a one-year contract with Turkeyâ€™s Ä°nterfed DanÄ±ÅŸmanlÄ±k Hizmetleri Ltd. for the improvement of risk management program.
Also, the bank signed an agreement with Temenos Group, the provider of integrated core banking systems, for the implementation of centralized core banking software.
