Azerbaijani delegation joins the Caspian Countries Intergovernmental Economic Conference

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The Caspian Countries Intergovernmental Economic Conference has kicked off in Astrakhan, Russia.
Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AzPromo) said the First Deputy-Premier Yagub Eyubov led Azerbaijani delegation to attend the event. “Representatives from AzPromo are also participating. The participants will be briefed on the oil and gas potential of Azerbaijan,” said AzPromo.
The conference will discuss the current situation and prospects for the development of economic ties between the littoral states.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov also visited Astrakhan (Russia) to join the meeting of the transport ministers of the Caspian states to discuss navigation and the development of shipping in the Caspian Sea.
The meeting is a preparation gathering for the Baku Summit of Heads of the Caspian States to be held in November.
