Azerbaijan’s trade gap with CIS countries reaches $490 million

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s foreign trade with faraway countries resulted in a trade surplus of $33 687 932 600 while gap trade with CIS states reached $490 045 100 during January-August.
The State Customs Committee said exports to faraway countries were $36 691 690 200, to CIS area were $1 011 845 400 and imports were $3 003 757 600 and $1 501 890 500 respectively.
The top three trade partners Azerbaijan exported to were Italy (40.99%), the United States (12.64%) and Israel (7.24%) and the top three Azerbaijan imported from were Russia (18.46%), Turkey (10.89%) and Germany (8.19%).
Azerbaijan foreign trade with 134 countries during January-August totaled $42 209 183 800.
