AZN 62 mln premiums collected on compulsory motor vehicle insurance in 10 months of 2012

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. In October, the amount of premiums on compulsory insurance agreements through the information system of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau made AZN 9.2 mln.

During this period, over 88.900 insurance agreements were signed on compulsory insurance of civil liability of motor vehicle owners. 21.600 of them were related to motor vehicles registered abroad and imported to Azerbaijan for transit purposes, and were signed for one month.

In general, 793,000 insurance agreements on compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners were signed in January-October. 183.400 of them were related to motor vehicles registered abroad and imported to Azerbaijan for transit purposes, and were signed for one month. The volume of insurance premiums on those agreements stood at AZN 62.4 mln.
