Bank deposits exceed AZN 10 bln in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2012, the volume of deposits placed at the existing credit institutions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 10,080.6 mln, up AZN 1,340.0 mln or 15.3% compared to last year. Besides, the deposits rose AZN 202.3 mln or 2.1% in September.

AZN 4,556.3 mln or 45.2% in the structure of deposits made households deposits. The deposits increased by AZN 933.9 mln or 25.8% year-on-year, as well AZN 93.7 mln or 2.1% in September.

At the same time, as of October 1, the volume of legal entitiesâ€™ deposits amounted to AZN 5,524.3 mln. This figure rose AZN 406.1 million or 7.9%, year-on-year and AZN 108.5 mln or 2.0% in September. AZN 2.710.0 mln or 49.1% of deposits belonged to financial organizations, AZN 2.814.3 mln or 50.9% - non-financial organizations.
