Azerbaijan sees 64% rise in life insurance market

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. In January-September, 2012, the total premiums on life insurance in Azerbaijan made AZN 30.605 mln, up 64.3% from previous year.
APA-Economics says most of premiums came from Ateshgah Life Insurance and PASHA Life Insurance. So, the premiums of these companies made AZN 13.728 mln and AZN 11.148 mln.
Ateshgah Life Insurance’s share was 44.8%, PASHA Life‘s – 36.4%.
Gala Life Insurance Company collected AZN 5.6 mln (share – 19%).
