Xalg Bank sees sharp rise in profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-September 2012, Xalg Bank got AZN 8.982 mln-profit, up 4.2 times from a year earlier.

During the reporting period, total incomes rose 12% to AZN 48.215 mln, interest incomes increased by 6.3% to AZN 41.497 mln, non-interest incomes grew by 66% to AZN 6.718 mln.

Expenses dropped 4.1% to AZB 39.233 mln, interest expenses decreased by 1.5% to AZN 19.530 mln , non-interest expenses soared 78% to AZN 19.422 mln.

Interest profit climbed 14.4% to AZN 21.967 mln , non-interest loss jumped 86% to AZN 12.704 mln.

Xalg Bank has been in operation since 2004. It operates 19 branches, 36 ATMs, 152 POS-terminals and 445 employees across the country.
