Rabitabank reduces foreign liabilities by 12%

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2012, Azerbaijan-based Rabitabankâ€™s loan portfolio made AZN 104.774 mln, up 23% from previous year.

Bank says short-term loans rose 44% to AZN 51.833 mln, long-term loans soared 8% to AZN 52.941 mln, consumer lending grew 51% to AZN 33.095 mln.

Deposit portfolio extended 18% to AZN 83.877 mln, as well as, term deposits went up 6.5% to AZN 83.877 mln, demand deposits advanced 79% to AZN 20.560 mln, populationâ€™s deposits surged 6% to AZN 62.976 mln.

Investments in securities increased by 20% tom AZN 6.439 mln, foreign liabilities dropped 12% to AZN 15.562 mln.

Remind that, Rabitabank has been in operation since 1993. The bank operates 18 branches, 30 ATMs and 657 POS-terminals across the country.
