International Bank of Azerbaijan selected as partner of Diners Club in the country

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Today, the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Diners Club International Company have signed an cooperation agreement. APA-Economics says the agreement was signed by First Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors EmilMustafayev and Diners Clubâ€™s director on Europe and Near East Jean-Francois Paul.

Mustafayev says itâ€™s firstly planned adoption of Diners Clubâ€™s cards for payment in the territory of Azerbaijan, second â€“ accepting of these cards by ATMs and the third â€“ issuance of Diners Clubâ€™s cards in Azerbaijan and submission to Azerbaijani citizens. Mustafayev stressed that, this was a great success for Bank, because of IBAR would render services to other banks as a partner of Diners Club in Azerbaijan.

Jean-Francois Paul informed about diners Club and its owner since 2008 Discover Financial Services company. He noted that, Diners Club, established in 1950, was a company offering very functional payment cards in the world. At present, the company operates in 185 countries. The Company was sold to US Discover Financial Services Payment Company. At present, Discover Financial Services has 56 mln card owners. Generally, this company operates in US, Diners Club â€“ in the world.

Besides, the Diners Clubâ€™s card owners have different advantages.

So, from today, IBAR has a right to accept Diners Clubâ€™s cards.
