Meeting with SECO delegation held at Chamber of Accounts

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA â€“ Economics. Chairman of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts Heydar Asadov has received the delegation of the Swiss State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO) led by head of department on macroeconomic political affairs of Swiss State Secretariat of Economic Affairs Monica Rubiolo.

The Chamber told APA-ECONOMICS that the meeting was dedicated to the discussion of the progress of the Corporate and Public Sector Accountability Project (CAPSAP), which was financed by the grant of the Swiss government and implemented by the World Bank.

The delegation informed about the measures taken by the chamber within the project, including the current situation of procurement procedure. It was especially underlined at the meeting that it was important to involve professional advisors in the project in order to achieve the goal and they agreed to continue making efforts in this sphere.

Besides the progress of CAPSAP project, development prospects of economic relations, the future potential spheres of the cooperation between the two organizations, as well as SECO portfolio on Azerbaijan were discussed at the meeting.

The SECO delegation also participated in the meeting.
