Azerbaijan’s economic growth rate drops to 1.1%

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan has produced AZN 39.8 bln-GDP in 9 months of 2012, up 1.1% from previous year and per head GDP made AZN 4,340.2 ($5,522.6), said the State Statistical Committee.
67.2% of GDP was produced in production spheres, as well 51.3% - in industry, 9.8% - construction, 6.1% - in agriculture, forestry and fishery, 26.6% - in service spheres. Net taxes to outputs and import made 6.2% of GDP.
Value added in non-oil sector rose 10.3% and its share in GDP stood at 50.3%.
The value added really rose 27.3% in construction, 16.7% - in information and communication services, 16.3% - in placement of tourists and catering services, 9.0% - in the trade and service sphere of transportation facilities, 6.3% - in agriculture, forestry and fishery and 2.1% - in transport and storehouses.
Note: economic growth in January-August made 1.3%, in January-September of 2011 – 0.5%.
