Finca-Azerbaijan gets decline in profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2012, Azerbaijan-based Finca-Azerbaijan non-banking organizationâ€™s assets stood at AZN 156.508 mln, up 1.47%from previous month.

Company says the loan portfolio rose 1.8% to AZN 138.626 mln, as well group loans dropped 0.2% to AZN 73.868 mln, and personal loans grew 4% to AZN 64.757 mln.

Along with this, share of group loans in total loan portfolio approximately decreased by 1.01 percentage points to 53.29%, share of personal loans â€“ rose 1 p0ercentage point to 46.71%.
Total capital rose 3.9% to AZN 31.066 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 5,000.

Total incomes in January-September made AZN 39.865 mln, up 24% in comparison to a year earlier. Expenditures soared 23% to AZN 29.946 mln. Consequently profit grew 32% to AZN 9.919 mln, down 10% from January-Augustâ€™s results.

Number of total clients rose 136% to 131,724, as well clients on group loan surged 6.1% to 90,771, on personal loans â€“ rose 33% to 40,763.

Note: Finca Azerbaijan has been in operation since 1998. The company operates 29 branches and 34 offices across the country.
