Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The total amount of transactions on current transfers with foreign countries made AZN $ 1,828.5 mln, in the first half of 2012.
Central Bank of Azerbaijan says that 46.7% or $ 854.3 mln of this is receipts, $ 974.2 mln or 53.3% - transfers from the country, Central Bank of Azerbaijan told APA.
So, for the first time, $119.9 mln-negative balance was formed on current transfers. For comparison to a year earlier, $ 337.6 mln-positive balance was observed. Note that, transfers to the country dropped 4.0%, from country – rose 76.2%.
93.2% of total premiums on current transfer are money orders which transferred to individual persons from abroad, 2.0% imported humanitarian goods, 4.8% other premiums.
