Co-chairman of commission from Azerbaijani side is Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, US co-chairman is Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy and the Environment Robert D. Hormats.

Note that, Hormats announced US supported Azerbaijanâ€™s efforts for membership to World Trade Organization.

Harmots noted that, Azerbaijanâ€™s economy had tripled since 2004: â€œAccording to WB statistics, poverty decreased from 49% to 9% from 2003 to 2009. Azerbaijan imported $328 mln-goods from US in 2011, up 30% from 2010â€.

Remind the first meeting was held in 2007 in Baku, second â€“ in 2008, Washington.
