Q1 tax receipts from non-oil sector rises 16% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ali Ahmedov â€“ APA-Economics. AZN 1,390.406 mln was transferred to the state budget as tax receipts in January-March, 2012. According to APA-Economics, 35% of these were profit tax, 25.6% - VAT, 12.7% - individualsâ€™ tax, 7.9% - excise, 18.8% - other taxes.

AZN 791.7 mln was transferred to the state budget from non-oil sector, up 16.4% from year earlier. 18,994 tax payers were registered in January-March. As of April 1, 2012 from July 1, 2011, registered individuals made 21,478 persons. Total number of registered tax payers reached 436,737.
