Demirbank borrows new loan from abroad

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Demirbank has signed a loan agreement with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on borrowing $3 mln funds.

Bank says according to loan agreement which signed for 5 years, the sides will implement financing of medium-sized enterprises in Azerbaijan. On this agreement, EBRD will finance the 50% of value of each project.

Note that, Demirabnk cooperates with 20+ international organizations (EBRD, IFC, ADB, Netherlands Development Finance Company, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, German-Azerbaijan Fund, DEG Investment Company and etc.)

Remind that, Demirbank has been in operation since 1989. The bank operates 30 branches, 50 ATMs and 245 POS-terminals across the country.
