Crisis in leasing market of Azerbaijan deepens

According to APA-Economicsâ€™ researches, thereby, UniLeasing, AGLeasing, Nikoil Leasing, Parex Leasing & Factoring and Technika Leasing Companies have already stopped the several operations.

According to UniLeasingâ€™s manager on advertisement Elchin Ibrahimov, the company has stopped the financing of car sales to individuals and legal entities: â€œHowever, crediting of other equipments continues. The car and equipments owners return them to the company due to problems in payments. The company continues works on recrediting of these cars and equipments and refinances themâ€.

He also noted that, the company preferred corporate clients in comparison to past period.

According to AGLeasing, Nikoil Leasing, Technika Leasing and Parex Leasing & Factoring companies, suspension of leasing operations is directly related with lack of finance. If financial assets are involved, recently, the operations may be resumed.

Deputy Chairman of AtaLeasingâ€™s BoD Javid Abbasov says the company preferred corporative clients compared to the past period.

Note that, other participants of market â€“ MCB Leasing, Kafkaz Leaasing, Ansar Leasing and Joint Leasing companies continue the financing of projects on leasing successfully.
