Azerbaijan Industry Bank gets 80% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2011, Azerbaijan Industry Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 189.393 mln, up 77.9% from year earlier.

Bank says the deposit portfolio rose 4.7% to AZN 97.722 mln, loan portfolio soared 54.3% to AZN 96.607 mln.

Total capital surged 8.3% to AZN 26.795 mln, as well authorized capital increased by 9.1% to AZN 24 mln.

Customers rose 32.5% to 28,548, including individuals increased by 33% to 27,724, legal entities â€“ by 11.8% to 824.

Number of active plastic cards rose 70.2% to 18,715, as well debit cards climbed 58.5% to 16,333 and credit cards rose 3.5 times to 2,382. AT the same time, staffs dropped 5.4% to 141.

Remind that, AIB has been in operation since 1996. THE bank operates 8 branches, 29 ATMs and 290 POS-terminals across the country.
