IDB slashes investment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The amount fixed investment by the Islamic Development Bank in Azerbaijan during January-September totaled AZN 2 264.4, down threefold on the same period last year.

The State Statistical Committee said the IDB investments accounted for 0.2% of total foreign fixed investment in Azerbaijan during this period.

Azerbaijan joined the IDB in 1992. The IDB commitments to the country were over $450 million for some 30 projects.
