Azal Sigorta posts 1% drop in insurance proceeds

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based insurance company Azal Sigorta earned AZN 12.939 million in insurance proceeds, down 1.2% from a year ago.

The company said it paid AZN 5.901 million for insurance claims, down 98.7% from a year ago.

Premiums most came from aircraft insurance (63.1%), aircraft ownersâ€™ civil liability and property insurance.

Insurance claims were only received from property insurance.

Azal Sigorta is owned by Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL).
