Melli Iran Bank Baku Branch gets a 66% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Melli Iran Bank Baku Branch posted its assets at AZN 30.731 million, up 66% from a year ago.

Deposit portfolio fell by 37% to AZN 4.233 million while loan portfolio rose by 4.5% to AZN 6.917 million. Consumer lending went down by 25% to AZN 3.447 million.

Total equity capital increased by 9.7% to AZN 12.310 million and authorized capital stock remained steady at AZN 10 million.

Revenue grew by 42.3% to AZN 2.905 million and expenditure more than doubled to AZN 1.935 million. Gross profit dropped by 12.3% year-on-year to AZN 970 000. The number of staff increased by 9.5% to 23, and average monthly salary rose by 80% to AZN 450.

Melli Iran Bank Baku Branch has been in operation since 1994.
