Azeri commercial banks will get direct access to the stock market

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. In order to spur demand in the securities market, it is proposed to allow commercial banks direct access to the stock market, said Rufat Aslanly, Chairman of the State Committee for Securities.

According to him, it is also planned to improve the capacity of brokers and dealers, introduce corporate governance practice in the capital market institutions and companies and improve governance and financial reporting standards.
