Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili broke her silence for the first time after the election of a new head of state. She spoke to the protesters in Tbilisi, saying provocatively: "No one chose anyone", APA reports citing Georgian media.
The elections of the country's president, which were held according to new rules — through electors, have ended in Georgia. They were won by the only candidate for the presidency of Georgia — the representative of the ruling Georgian Dream party, football legend, champion of Russia, father of many children Mikhail Kavelashvili. 224 out of 300 electors voted for him.
It is specified that his inauguration should take place before the New Year.
