Baku-APA. “For decades Turkey faces injustice in connection with the 1915 events. Unfortunately, the events of 1915 have not been fully investigated without the ideological approach and misinformation. Both Armenia and the Armenian diaspora have not demonstrated common sense," said the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a speech at the French Institute of International Relations, APA reports.

According to Erdogan, Turkey propose not to politicize the issue, make it a subject for study by historians: "We have opened our archives, up to now we disclosed more than a million documents. If Armenia has such an archive – they can open. If other third country has, they also can open it. Let historians, archaeologists, lawyers, political scientists work on them. And we will do the steps according to the results of their research"

Turkish President stressed that Turkey has always held out his hand for the resumption of relations: "Unfortunately, our good intentions have not found a reaction. Turkey in 2015, the 100th anniversary of the so-called "genocide", will continue to make every effort to ensure that the world learn the real truth about these events. We believe that the success will be on the side of historical justice and not on ideological grounds of misinformation. "
