An armed man attacked Turkish CHP deputy chair

Baku-APA. Bülent Tezcan, Deputy Chair of main opposition party CHP, has been attacked by a gunned man in AydÄ±n. Having been wounded from his leg, APA reports quoting Milliyet.

Tezcan has been taken to AydÄ±n’s Adnan Menderes University Hospital for treatment.

Giving statements to HaberTürk TV about the attack, CHP MP Özgür Özel – who was also recently attacked by a group of aggressors in Ä°stanbul – said: “I heard about it online and I am now on my way to AydÄ±n. I haven’t arrived there yet. We have been informed that Tezcan was attacked at a restaurant and wounded from the top of his foot. I also called him on his phone but could not reach him. I’ve heard that he has been taken to the hospital and that he does not have a life-threatening condition. I don’t have any information about the attacker.”
