Baku. Rufat Ahmadzada – APA. The Polish Foreign Ministry has sent a note of protest to Russia.

The note was sent in response to the Polish FM’s criticism by Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.

Polish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Marcin Wojciechowski said the note of protest was handed to Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Federation to Poland Yuri Pilipson.

Earlier, the Polish FM said the camp at Auschwitz had been liberated the Ukrainians, and that Victory Day (9 May) should be celebrated in the capitals of European countries, not in Moscow. This was met with an outrage in Russia.

Grigory Karasin accused the Polish minister of bringing shame to the political culture of his country.
