Normandy Quartet meeting in Paris ends - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED

The meeting lasted for three hours, APA reported citing RIA Novosti.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters that the meeting was useful.

The Russian, German, French and Ukrainian FMs are expected to make statements on the results of the meeting.

Baku – APA. The foreign ministers of the Normandy Quartet countries (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine) are meeting in Paris to discuss the settlement of the Donbass conflict.

The meeting is being held at the French Foreign Ministry, APA reported citing Le Figaro.

According to the newspaper, a Ukrainian diplomat has said the Russian side did not want the meeting to take place.

“However, we need to maintain the West’s political pressure on Moscow. The meeting is not aimed at the signing of any document,” the Ukrainian diplomat was quoted as saying.

Note that, the German Foreign Ministry too confirmed the holding of the meeting.
