Baku-APA. France on Thursday condemned Taliban's suicide bombing which hit a British embassy's armored vehicle in Kabul, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
At a daily press briefing, the Foreign Ministry's spokesperson Romain Nadal said Paris sent condolences to the victims' families and reiterated its support to the authorities in Afghanistan to fight terrorism and Islamist insurgents.
Earlier in the day, a suicide bomber targeting British embassy killed 5 people. A total of 33 people were wounded, including four children.
Shortly after the attack, Taliban insurgent group claimed the responsibility for the blast in a wave of attacks to hit the country's security as the NATO and U.S. forces are withdrawing from the country.
The war-torn country is due to take over the responsibility for its own security from NATO-led troops by the end of year.
