10 people wounded in Istanbul motorbike bomb blast - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED-2

Baku – APA. 10 people were wounded in Thursday's motorbike bomb blast near a police station in Istanbul, according to Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin.

Vasip Sahin said none of the wounded are in critical condition.

Baku – APA. At least five people were wounded in an explosion near a police station in the Yenibosna neighborhood of Istanbul on the afternoon of Oct. 6, private broadcaster CNN Turk has reported.

All the injured were hospitalized, one of them is in serious condition.

Windows of the houses near the scene were broken and vehicles were damaged due to the blast.

Police are reportedly searching for one suspect in the surrounding area.

The site of the blast is close to a police station, military recruiting office, and forensic medicine institution.

The same police station was subjected to a terrorist attack in 2012 too.

Baku – APA. Several people were injured as a car bomb exploded near a police station in the Yenibosna neighborhood of Istanbul on the afternoon of Oct. 6, local newspaper Milliyet reported.

Residents reported hearing gunshots immediately after the explosion, according to IHA news agency.
