Baku-APA. The Czech lower house of parliament will conduct vote of a motion of confidence in the caretaker government of Jiri Rusnok at a session on Aug. 7, its organizational committee said on Wednesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The house's chairperson Miroslava Nemcova (Civic Democrats, ODS) said that the motion of confidence would be the first point of the session.
Czech President Milos Zeman appointed Jiri Rusnok as prime minister of a caretaker government on July 10 against the will of the parties in parliament.
The government will need to ask the chamber of deputies for its confidence within 30 days of its appointment. It is unclear whether the caretaker government will win the parliament's confidence vote.
To win support, the government needs a simple majority of the 200-seat chamber.
Except two MPs, one being in custody and the other serving a prison sentence, Nemcova said no MPs have so far said that they will not attend the planned plenary session.
She said she expected President Zeman to announce his presence at the session during the confidence vote.
