The Assembly approved the 2015 state draft budget, with 81 votes in favor and 3 against, in a plenary session. The total expenses of fiscal year of 2015 is estimated to reach 475 billion lek (4.24 million U.S. dollars) and the revenues will amount to 415 billion lek (3.71 million U.S. dollars).
Albanian government is inclined to fuel its domestic production by providing incentives for heavy industry, manufacturing, agriculture, fishery, processing of minerals and other products.
Contradicted the opposition's denounce on the raise of taxes, Albanian premier Edi Rama said only three taxes, namely on oil, tobacco and secondary incomes, would be raised whereas 15 others would be lowered.
