The Ukrainian military struck nine more tankers belonging to Russia's "shadow fleet" in the Sea of Azov overnight into July 8, said, the Commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
According to the statement, a total of 21 vessels have been targeted over the past 72 hours. Of these, 19 were "shadow fleet" tankers, one was a cargo ship, and the other was a ferry located in Kerch.
The statement said that a total of 53 military facilities in Crimea and the Russian-occupied southern territories were struck during the night.
In addition, it was noted that six more electrical substations were hit as part of the operation dubbed "Crimea's energy key is being turned off," while a total of 50 energy hubs have been targeted between July 1 and July 8.
