Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov and French Armed Forces Minister Catherine Vautrin signed a letter of intent on joint cooperation in the production of weapons in the territories of the two countries, Mikhail Fedorov posted on the Telegram channel, APA reports.
The minister said that this step will create conditions for the launch of large-scale joint projects in the field of defense industry between Ukraine and France. In particular, the governments and defense companies of both countries will focus on the development of radio-electronic warfare systems.
Fedorov noted that Ukraine also plans to acquire ammunition for the SAMP/T, Mistral and Crotale systems.
