Turkiye’s current account balance for December is expected to post a deficit of $3.98 billion, according to an Anadolu Agency survey on Wednesday, APA reports.
A group of 27 economists' estimates for the month ranged between $2.5 billion and $4.8 billion.
The survey showed the end-2021 current account balance is expected to show a deficit of $14.6 billion, with estimates ranging between $12.5 billion and $15.7 billion.
The Turkish Central Bank will release the balance of payments figures on Friday.
In November, the current account posted a $2.68 billion deficit.
